Evaluation and Diagnostics

The purpose of a speech and language evaluation is to identify one’s areas of strengths and needs, and to determine if specialized treatment would be beneficial. We offer several evaluation options, allowing us to select the most appropriate structure based on your concerns and your child’s developmental history. All evaluations are followed by a comprehensive report of findings and specific recommendations.

Speech and Language Therapy

We provide one-on-one speech and language therapy within our client’s home or our office, focusing on each child’s individual needs. We find what is motivating and meaningful to the child and embed our goals into those activities to make our sessions fun and effective. Caregiver coaching and thorough home programming are also included after each session to foster continued growth outside of therapy.

Our qualified therapists have experience treating in all areas of speech and language, including but not limited to:

  • Receptive language
  • Expressive language
  • Articulation and phonology
  • Apraxia of speech
  • Oral motor
  • Social skills and pragmatic language
  • Cognition – memory, executive functioning, attention, etc.
  • Auditory processing

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
